Then LTCDR (Select) Cecil E. Harris (Cece), Second highest scoring Navy ace in the Pacific with 24 victories writes to McCampbell;
Skipper, Best Regards, C.E. 'Cece' Harris. Photo, released 13 JAN 1945, was from McCampbell's personal album. Captain
Cecil Elwood Harris passed away 12/2/1981. He held the Navy Cross, The Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross with Gold Star
among other awards. The women were Navy Department personnel.

Mc Campbell, DDG-85. The McCampbell was christened by Madeleine Albright, SECSTATE, 2 JUL 2000, and is expected to be commissioned
in 2002. CDR Mark C. Montgomery, USN is the ship's prospective commanding officer.
