Position: Marketing Manager

Location: East Coast

Salary: $90K-$110K + Bonus


Position Description:

A well-established manufacturer of engine diagnostics and monitoring systems for the Aerospace & Defense industry is seeking a Marketing Manager to expand it's product to the civil market. You will market an adapted product line to the FAA, airline maintenance/technical management organizations, MRO organizations, and aircraft or engine leasing companies on behalf of a newly created US subsidiary. This is an exciting, ground-floor opportunity with great growth potential!

Requirements:

5+ years successful marketing experience in the commercial aviation industry (preferably airline) with special emphasize on propulsion systems, jet engines of large aircraft.

Knowledge of the engine maintenance and overall industry.
Familiar with aircraft and/or engine leasing companies.
Relationships with FAA strongly preferred.

Experience securing contracts ranging from $1-$5 million.
Ability to communicate to decision makers the economic value and cost savings that engine diagnostics/monitoring system will deliver.

Business or Engineering (preferably aeronautical or mechanical) degree

Position: Director of Business Development

Location: Southern California

Salary: mid -100's + bonus

A leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art aircraft reconnaissance systems used by military and commercial customers worldwide is seeking a Director of Business Development (Southern California) to develop new business opportunities and capture strategies for aviation programs.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this person will also advise and counsel management on all issues effecting probability of winning contracts including bid/no bid decisions, multi-company teaming decisions, systems design pricing strategy, supplement staffing etc. This person will also be responsible for improving the company's competitive position by recommending new applications of systems, providing and managing new initiatives and business opportunities for programs.

Requirements:

MS or BS degree in Engineering, Management, or Marketing, plus 10 years experience in the marketing of electronic systems and/or components to U.S. and foreign government customers. Must have excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Recent experience/contacts with the US Army desirable. Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Location: Washington, DC

Salary: $110k-$120k + bonus


A leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art aircraft reconnaissance systems used by military and commercial customers worldwide is seeking a Business Development Specialist, Washington, D.C. to serve as liaison between company and federal government; maintain key marketing/sales contacts with domestic and foreign military personnel; evaluate and manage new initiatives and business opportunities; represent the company on policy and technical matters with members of the legislative body.


Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or Marketing, or equivalent experience. Must possess good interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and grasp essentials of specialties outside of the incumbents field of expertise; knowledge of relevant computer applications and operations. Must be detail oriented and able to work extended hours. Previous military experience or interaction with senior officials in U.S. technical agencies preferred. Must have experience in securing funding at the highest levels of the Pentagon/foreign governments. Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
